Hanging out in Hangzhou

It’s hard to explain where the services of Haida HR stop. These guys provide all-round services to anyone who wants to make a prosperous life in China. All you need is a bachelor’s degree, two years of post graduate work experience, and TEFL certification of more than 120 hours. I met all the requirements easily since I had been preparing for a life in China. Didn’t know it would come so fast and come so easy. What surprised me even more was that I was posted in Hangzhou, which is one of the most beautiful cities in China.
I needed to make sure that Haida delivered what they promised. I was given more than that in fact. Haida is like that cool nanny who lets you have fun and keeps you in line at the same time. Haida made sure that I was trained for the job because teaching little Chinese children is a big difficult. I remember countless seminars that taught the new foreign teachers how to approach the Chinese way of life, then only could we understand the children.

The best part about the Haida life is Hangzhou. This city has rich history, culture, and tradition. You’ll be scared of Chinese food initially. But, I am sure, give it a month and you’ll start to love Chinese food. Hangzhou has a lot to offer. It’s an amalgamation of awesome bars and sightseeing spots. Haida is a great place to apply if you want all these in your life.

From Toronto to Hangzhou

Before Haida HR, It used to be a boring day with my annoying co-worker endless blabber that would eat up most of my peace. I used to work as a copywriter in a Toronto-based firm. Suddenly everyone around me had a happening life with frequent trips and pictures on Facebook with their new foreign projects.  Though, I did not realize that I needed something similar.
While looking for the best dumpling place on Google, I came across a forum talking about what life is like in China. The people were talking about working and living in China, it’s where the name Haida HR popped up. So, like the name suggests, it’s a human resource company that recruits foreign teachers in China. I didn’t give it much thought till I scrolled down the forum and read that Haida China reviews is ‘different’. These guys will pick you up from the airport, help you with accommodation and set you up with a comfortable life in China.
I was fooling around with Haida HR till I actually applied for as a foreign teacher, just to see how deep the rabbit hole goes. One thing led to another and I took a flight to Hangzhou, via Beijing. It’s been a year now since I’ve been in China as an English teacher. Let me tell you, it was worth it! The Chinese children I teach are very obedient and helpful. Haida HR makes sure that my apartment is comfortable and that I don’t run into any problems. Although I don’t have plans of settling down in China, I hope to live the Haida life a bit more.

Teacher Review for Haida

My name is Javier I have been working for Haida Company the last six months and I can tell you I had a very good working experience with them. I have been enjoying the work environment and I got support and assistance during all this time.
I think Haida is a good company. Haida’s team is always looking to improve their process and to strengthen their opportunity areas. They care about providing everything is required by the teachers to give a good education and teaching service to the students and the school’s community. Haida’s team give special attention to the teacher’s needs, both personal and professional for them to have a good work atmosphere. Training and couching are provided by the company since the beginning I start working with them and it has been a good strategy to ensure the education quality standard that the schools demand and it’s also a good way for us to feel sure about the work we perform in the classrooms.

For me, Haida HR  is a good company and I’m sure it’s in the way to become one of the best companies in the city.

Good Experience with Haida

Hello. My name is Jack Cummings; I am 22 years old from Manchester England.I came to China just after graduating from university so I have been here for just over 1 year now. Doing small lectures in high schools after finishing university really got me interested in teaching as it feels great to give something back. From a young age I have always had a passion for traveling and learning new things and China has always been a country that I wanted to experience first hand. I joined Haida HR just over 6 moths ago and I have no bad things to say about them. At my previous company is was a little hard to get my point across and I think this is due to the cultural differences which is completely understandable. But the great thing is about Haida is that most of their Chinese employees have studied or at least lived abroad which makes a huge difference. The staff listen to you and they have a great understanding on how the western society works. Haida help you every step of the way from getting an apartment to the little things such as setting up a bank account and phone. Any small problems that I have had while being in China Haida have done their best in helping me overcome these problems which has been a weight lifted from my shoulders as being in a new country so far from home can be a challenge sometimes. I am really thankful for Haida being so accommodating for me and also for other employees that love Haida also and I would defiantly recommend this opportunity to teachers back at home to experience this themselves.

Summing my experience with Haida HR in one word – Incredible!

Hailing from a small town in Australia, Haida opened doors of new possibilities for me. I was initially skeptical about what China would ha...
